Katherine Mora, MSN, ARNP, PMHNP-BC

Katherine Mora, MSN, ARNP, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides thoughtful, patient-centered care for adolescents and adults navigating a wide range of mental health concerns. She takes a holistic, integrative approach to psychiatry, combining evidence-based treatment with compassionate support to help patients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their care.

Katherine is fluent in Russian and is proud to offer bilingual mental health services, allowing her to support patients in a culturally responsive and comfortable environment.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Florida International University, where she graduated in 2025. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Molloy University and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice at FIU.

Katherine specializes in the evaluation and treatment of adolescent and adult mental health conditions, with clinical expertise that includes:

Her clinical interests include psychopharmacology, treatment-resistant depression, telepsychiatry, and integrative psychiatry, allowing her to tailor treatment plans that thoughtfully combine medication management with a whole-person perspective.

Prior to her role at South Florida Integrative Medicine, Katherine worked as a Registered Nurse in critical care and ICU settings at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where she developed a strong foundation in complex patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Katherine is an active member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and the Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners, reflecting her dedication to professional growth and clinical excellence.

She has contributed to the broader mental health community through research and education, including her publication and presentation, “The Impact of Social Media on Adolescent Mental Health and Development,” delivered at the Florida Nurses Association Symposium in 2025. She is open to future educational and speaking engagements on topics such as adolescent mental health, ADHD, ASD, and psychopharmacology.

Outside of clinical practice, Katherine enjoys an active, outdoor lifestyle that includes exercise, the beach, hiking, and camping. She grew up in Russia, later lived in New York, and now resides in Miami. She is a proud mother of two and values meaningful time with her family.
