Georgette De Jesús, MD, a licensed psychiatrist who provides medication-based treatments and psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents and adults.
Prior to joining South Florida Integrative Medicine in 2016, Dr. De Jesús established a successful private practice in San Juan and served as the Associate Training Director for the Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Residency Training Program at the University of Puerto Rico. Dr. De Jesús also worked at the prestigious San Jorge Children’s Hospital in San Juan, the primary children’s hospital in Puerto Rico, both in the pediatric inpatient and partial hospitalization program as well as in the Research Center.
Dr. De Jesús received her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, where she developed a profound interest in integrative medicine. She completed her general psychiatry training at Duke University and her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at New York University.
Dr. De Jesús is bilingual and provides services in English and Spanish.
