Dr. Deborah Salani is an Associate Professor of Clinical and Director of the BSN Accelerated Program at the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies. She joined our practice of Nurse Practitioners, SFIM II, in 2019 in order to offer patients high quality, insurance-based integrative mental health services.
A nurse practitioner for more than 30 years, Dr. Salani's experience includes a tenure of nearly a decade as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Hematology/Oncology and Pediatric Critical Care. She also practiced as the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner on the Pain Management Team. Her administrative experience includes leading the Emergency Department, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and Hemodialysis Unit at Miami Children’s Hospital. Dr. Salani also completed the post-masters Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program and is board certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
Dr. Salani has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Marywood University, Scranton, Pennsylvania; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Miami.
South Florida Integrative Medicine formed a new practice in 2019 in order to offer patients high quality, insurance-based integrative mental health services. Our Nurse Practitioners see patients at our office and online for telemental health appointments.
