Jeri Klemme Zaiac, MBA, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Jeri Klemme Zaiac, , joined our team of Nurse Practitioners, SFIM II, in 2020 in order to offer patients high quality, insurance-based integrative mental health services. She is experienced in treating a range of mental health diagnoses across the life-span such as depression, bi-polar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, dementia, and memory loss disorders. Ms. Klemme Zaiac is also certified to provide medication-assisted treatment in substance use disorders including Naloxone and Buprenorphine (i.e. Suboxone, Sublocade) by the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.

Ms. Klemme Zaiac has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Marquette University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Nova Southeastern University. She built a successful business career that focused on specialty niches of healthcare, developing her own quality assurance company that catered to national health insurance carriers to perform their HEDIS (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) studies, in order to measure the quality of health care plans.

More recently, Ms. Klemme Zaiac returned to her nursing roots and completed a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Miami School of Nursing. She is duly certified and licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is currently enrolled at Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice in their DNP-Executive Program.

Ms. Klemme Zaiac is community-minded and has dedicated many volunteer hours to philanthropic and faith-based groups in Miami that include the Miami Jewish Federation and United Way. She has a special passion to care for veterans, children, the frail and elderly, and individuals with substance use disorders. Ms. Klemme Zaiac speaks both English and conversational Spanish.
