Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Deborah Salani is an Associate Professor of Clinical and Director of the BSN Accelerated Program at the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies. She joined South Florida Integrative Medicine to deliver clinical services to patients in 2019.
Dr. Salani has been practicing as a nurse practitioner for greater than 30 years. She practiced as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Hematology/Oncology and Pediatric Critical Care for approximately 10 years. She also practiced as the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner on the Pain Management Team. Her administrative experience includes leading the Emergency Department, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and Hemodialysis Unit at Miami Children’s Hospital. Dr. Salani also completed the post-masters Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program and is board certified as psychiatric nurse practitioner.
Dr. Salani has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Marywood University, Scranton, Pennsylvania; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Miami.
