Cristina del Busto, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist who joined South Florida Integrative Medicine in 2019. She provides psychotherapy, behavioral health consultations, and comprehensive psychoeducational testing and evaluation services for children (starting at age four years old), adolescents, and young adults.
Her psychotherapeutic services including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Executive Function and Organizational Skills, Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Mindfulness. Testing services include evaluations aimed at early detection of developmental delays, psychoeducational evaluations geared at understanding a person’s cognitive and academic abilities, gifted evaluations, career assessments to provide insight into a person’s interests and provide educational guidance, and full evaluations designed to detect and better understand patterns of psychological and behavioral difficulties.
Dr. del Busto received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Florida International University. She has extensive clinical training in evidence-based assessment and treatment of childhood disorders, with a specialty emphasis in anxiety disorders. She has expertise in the assessment and treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD, underachievement, motivation problems, and personality disorders. Dr. del Busto has written and presented at local and national conferences on topics related to anxiety, selective mutism, parenting, and cultural considerations in working with diverse groups.
Dr. del Busto is bilingual and works with clients in both English and Spanish.
